Extra large propane / electric convection oven
Extra large commercial Blodgett oven on wheeled transport base. Unit utilizes both propane and electric for temperatures up to 500 degrees. 50,000 BTU / hour per section Capacity – up to 5 full size baking pans in left to right position

EXTRA LARGE CONVECTION OVEN OPERATION

1.) Make sure that oven is on level and secure ground before operating unit.

2.) Plug in unit to power source and install propane tank using propane hose.

3.) Turn gas on propane tank on. Locate gas valve switch on unit and turn to “ON” position if in off position.

4.)Make sure the RED COOL DOWN SWITCH on the front of the machine is in the AUTO position.

5.) Set temperature knob to desired setting.

6.) Turn the BLACK POWER SWITCH to the “ON” position.

7.) Oven will turn on and the fan will start running. Before the oven pilot will light, the unit must be purged of air. This can take a few moments.

8.) You will hear the oven attempt to light the pilot burner.

THE UNIT MAY NOT LIGHT ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT AND MAY TAKE A FEW MOMENTS FOR THE PILOT BURNER TO PURGE ALL AIR AND TO FIRE PILOT. IF THE RED INDICATING LIGHT DOES NOT COME ON AFTER A FEW MOMENTS, TURN BLACK SWITCH OFF POSITION AND OPEN OVEN DOORS. REPEAT STEP 6 TO RESTART OVEN AND CLOSE OVEN DOORS.

MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS MAY NEED TO BE MADE FOR AIR TO BE PURGED FROM LINE.

9.) Red indicating light will turn on when oven is fired and lit. Once the light turns off the oven has reached desired temperature. The light will cycle on and off as the oven calls for heat.

10.)When cooking is done, leave the power switch in the “ON” position and turn RED COOL DOWN SWITCH to MANUAL position and open oven doors.

11.) Once oven is cooled down(approxi. 10 minutes), turn the BLACK POWER SWITCH to “OFF” position and COOL DOWN SWITCH back to “Auto”.

12.) Shut off gas to the unit and unplug from power source before cleaning.

PLEASE RETURN UNIT FREE OF FOOD AND CLEAN.
